This explains what information Gope Technologies, Inc collects through Gope, why, and who can see it.

1. Who decides what is collected

A trucking company (our customer) decides what information about its business, vehicles and drivers goes into Gope. We process that information on the company's behalf to provide the service. If you are a driver and have questions about your records, please start with your employer.

2. What we collect

Account information: name, email address, phone number, role and password (stored securely, never in readable form).

Company information: company name, DOT number, addresses and in-house shop details.

Driver records your company enters: for example date of birth, home address, the last four digits of a Social Security number, hire and termination dates, and uploaded documents such as licenses and medical cards.

Vehicle and operations data: unit numbers, VINs, plates, documents, inspections (checklists, notes, photos, signatures, timestamps), maintenance tickets and repair costs.

Technical data: basic logs and device or browser information needed to run and secure the service.

We do not store payment card numbers. Card details are handled by our payment provider.

3. How we use it

To provide and secure the service, show your company its records, send account and invite emails, handle billing, give support, and fix problems. We do not sell personal information.

4. AI processing

When a driver flags a problem in an inspection, the photos and related text may be sent to an AI provider to produce a suggested analysis. Only what is needed for that analysis is sent.

5. Who we share it with

We use these service providers to run Gope:

  • Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage
  • Vercel: web hosting
  • Stripe: payments and subscriptions
  • Resend: sending email
  • OpenAI: AI analysis of inspection photos

Within a company, access depends on role: for example, only owners and fleet managers can open full driver profiles. One company cannot see another company's data. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

6. Security

We use safeguards including encrypted connections and per-company access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your sign-in details private and tell us right away if you suspect misuse.

7. How long we keep it

We keep information while the company's account is active. Terminated drivers' records are kept with the company's account so it can meet its own record-keeping needs. After an account is closed we delete its data after a reasonable period unless the law requires us to keep it.

8. Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete information we hold about you by contacting us. For driver records your employer controls, we may need to refer you to your employer.

9. Children

The service is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.

10. Changes and contact

If we make significant changes we will update the date above and tell customers. Questions: support@getgope.com
